Everything changed after 2 years.

It started in 2002 when I was struck down an escalator and dislocated my arm - my wife had just walked away with our baby daughter Angelica and I was lying in agony at the bottom of the moving stairs. I screamed out her name louder than I ever have before.

“JALDHARA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“You have to go to Japan.”

I am walking along Crown street in Sydney - on my way to teach a class at the Actor’s Centre in 1995 - when this thought arrives in my head. Truly, it happened. I don’t remember thinking much about Japan before then, so where did this thought come from?

Today is just too busy to sit down and write another post, but I want to keep to my daily commitment. So I am going to cheat. I am sending a message I wrote in 2016 - just before Trump became President of the USA - which briefly explains what happened to me in 1991, as well as one of those dreams I talked about:

Write it down - and it will happen: I haven’t changed a word from the original, 7 years ago.

As part of this series, I have been wondering when I first realised the contribution financial health gives to being an effective communicator of Alexander’s Discovery. 

For me, I think it was in 1991.

In a place of despair and confusion, I wondered what to do with my school.

One way I escape reality is to dream about the future. Over my life, I have discovered that the clearer the dream, the more likely it will come true. I was discussing this with a friend who had recently decided to pack up his home in Australia and move to Japan. While doing that, he found an old list he had written decades before of the things he wanted to accomplish. To his astonishment, every one of them had become a reality.

As the cash was dwindling from my BodyChance school’s account - you’d think I’d live frugally, watching the pennies so the pounds would look after themselves. Right?

The opposite was true.
