One of my close family friends always dreams of a biz that will do itself.

A few years ago, she came into a large swop of cash. Money in hand, she sought out an online biz that was delivering profits monthly without too much work. She paid a lot of money to acquire the biz, and then her nightmare started…

It’s every entrepreneur’s dream to find an easy biz like that, and that is mostly what it is. A dream. Within two years my friend had lost all her cash, her fancy car and even her family home. All gone.

No business does itself.

These are the results of vigorous discussion in our ATSuccess Facebook group, with threads that sometimes reach epic proportions! Fabulous and pertinant information. Of course, not everyone follows all threads, but if a topic has an interest for you, you will read from actual AT teachers how they are implementing these new ideas in their practice. Of course even more exciting than that, is reading about the steady results that are flowing from this focused attention. Most Alexander Technique teachers will not use Facebook to find students, or if they do, they won't use the facilities of paid advertising to do it. The more advanced teachers will open a business page, post some things, hope to create some engagement. This is good. But not enough.

The Purpose of a Facebook Page

Think of your biz as a mobile, hanging from the roof so that every part influences the whole. This is a principled way of holistic thinking that applies as naturally to your business as it does to your co-ordination. The name of your biz of one of those moving parts that influences the whole.

Here's a sentence worthy of Alexander longest and most circuitous: As the newly named Invitation Letters into the niched work of each teacher took shape, following an immensely detailed psychological tapestry built over decades of experience creating these things, word starting coming back from students and contacts of many of the teachers participating in this process, that demonstrated the inert power available from participating. Here's a better way of putting all that:

But this is a story repeated every day, in hundreds of different matters, at a consequence of great suffering. Whenever my mind is saying "You should…" or "He has to…" I know that I am in a narrative of poverty, not generosity.

This week we danced along together, some resting, some pirouetting, some in partnerships - but all in different stages of building the engine of each person's practise. How?
