When I started ATSuccess, I wondered how to get access to teachers.

It was a mammoth task - how do you find and communicate with potentially 4,000 teachers? At the time, it felt like an overwhelming task…

The kids, duh.

But what if you have no kids?

Or what if it's your biz, and the metaphorical "fire" is an empty teaching room, week after week, month after month. What can save your business?

Yesterday I ran a competition, basically asking everyone this question.

Anything that functions must change.

There is no other way it can exist. Particles of change exist at a Quantum level, and there's never a dull moment. Life is change.

Despite all that, I still don't like talking about "change." It seems to suggest there is something wrong with the way I am. You know:

You can't 'do' compassionate.

Have you ever been at the receiving end of someone who is trying to "care"?

They make these unhappy faces, sigh a lot, say things like

"Oh, that must have been very hard."

Somewhere deep inside, you know you're being conned. It's not evil, it's not even bad - it's just fake. Like fake news. You want to believe it, but you know it probably isn't true.

It relates to Alexander's discovery - you can no more "do compassion" than you can "do freedom." Freedom, compassion - they are results of a process.

When I first started to use touch in teaching, I used to get desperate. I can't deliver, I cried, I don't know how to make a change!
