To Dream the Impossible Dream
by Jeremy ChanceIn 1924 Professor Raymond Dart, an anthropologist and Professor of Anatomy at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, was giving a public lecture when an audience member asked:
"What can humans achieve?"
Dart considered the question for a moment, then answered:
"A person can achieve whatever he can imagine."
The man quickly replied:
"But that's ridiculous; I can imagine a man on the moon."

What can you imagine? Anything is possible.
In 1966 Paul Schneider, a screenwriter of the famous Star Trek TV series on space exploration, first imagined the concept of "cloaking" or hiding an object. A spacecraft could be "hidden" simply by bending light waves.
Too fantastic to be true?
Yes, that is until 16th April 2010 when the Science journal published a paper by Tolga Ergin and his fellow Germans at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology: "Three-Dimensional Invisibility Cloak at Optical Wavelengths."
Suddenly Harry Potter and his invisibility coat were no longer science fiction! What was once only imagined - by a TV show screenwriter - is now slowly coming true.
These days we are almost assaulted by amazing & fantastic discoveries and possibilities in the physical world. Ted talks, headlines, Musk on his way to Mars!
Can it be the case that whatever I imagine, is one day possible?
Give a moment to consider your world: what seems to fantastic to believe now?
ThinkingBody is about how Alexander realized his dream. The truth is that dreams are beset by obstacles, and it is the obstacles that crush the dream. People think Alexander's story is about how a man overcame hoarseness of voice.
No. That is not FM's story.
FM's story is of a man with passion and love for theatre, creativity and a dream career. You start with passion, not obstacles – then you tackle the obstacles.
All this – and the steps that follow - are easily explained in my ThinkingBody Online course. By following the Compass that I developed, you have the steps to overcome the obstacles to your dream. You can see those steps of the Compass on the link below.
